Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.



Details and requirements for this opportunity:


Schedule: Office hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with 24-hour call coverage on assigned dates


Practice Setting: Office-based OB/GYN clinic with hospital call and labor and delivery coverage


Types of Cases: Low- and high-risk obstetrics, prenatal care, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, placental abruptions, vaginal birth after cesarean, repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations, fetal heart rate interpretation, obstetric ultrasound interpretation, office gynecology procedures, colposcopy, loop electrosurgical excision procedures, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, tubal ligation, laparoscopic gynecology, ectopic pregnancy surgery, ovarian surgery, and cystectomy


Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days


Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic


Certifications Required: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology


Licensure Required: Active Virginia medical license or willing to obtain
