Position Summary:

Manages daily/weekly/monthly build schedule for components to ensure customer delivery dates are met. Collaborates with Master Scheduler, Materials Manager, Production Managers, and Operators to meet or exceed commitment to customer driven metrics.

  • Creates, reviews and manages component production orders for motors and generators.
  • Align with Master Scheduler on component availability versus scheduled ship date of finished good.
  • Partner with the Inventory Controller on material substitutes.
  • Review and manage the missed scan report.
  • Create and track rework production orders.
  • Manage the RMA process (create RMA production orders, RMA receipt and reship dates).
  • Review workbench daily and release component jobs according to demand requirements.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to determine material availability.
  • Manage kit orders with production floor.
  • Own the Lebanon component report.
  • Manage/respond to intercompany part requests.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 3+ years direct scheduling of multiple product lines. CPIM is a plus.
  • Experience in working cross functionally with leadership, master scheduler, purchasing, engineering, etc (50% shop floor, 50% office).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP planning systems (Oracle is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and components is a plus.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings are a plus.

Commercial and Appliance Motors
In this business area, our focus is the market of single phase motors for durable consumer goods, such as washing machines, air conditioners, water pumps, among others.

Paints and Varnishes
In this area, which includes liquid paints, powder paints, and electro-insulating varnishes, we have a very clear focus on industrial applications in Brazil and are expanding to Latin America and other regions.
