Job description

Join a mission-driven medical group in the Greater Sacramento area as a full-time or part-time Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This hybrid role offers flexibility, combining remote care with in-person clinic coverage as needed across multiple sites. You will practice within a structured FQHC/community health outpatient model focused on access, efficiency, and culturally responsive, patient-centered care — without nights, weekends, call, or panel management responsibilities.


Compensation & Benefits
  • Highly competitive base salary range: $155,000 – $185,000

  • Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling

Position Expectations
  • Experience in an FQHC or community health outpatient clinic strongly preferred

  • Comfort managing approximately 3 patients per hour (20-minute visits), including structured administrative time

  • Ability to complete documentation within 72 hours

  • Proficiency managing EMR workflows, including in-basket responsibilities (patient messages, medication refills, lab review and follow-up)

  • EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

  • Adaptability to float between clinic locations and telemedicine platforms as needed

  • Commitment to serving a diverse, multilingual patient population

  • Bilingual skills (Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, Spanish, or other languages) highly valued


Requirements
  • Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license

  • 1–2 years of outpatient primary care experience preferred

  • Comfortable delivering both in-person and virtual care

  • Strong communication, efficiency, and team-based care skills
