Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer. They are seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports while collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
• Build data models and write DAX/M queries to support reporting needs.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms.
• Implement row-level security and manage workspace permissions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data refreshes.
• Document processes, data models, and report logic for future reference.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query Formula Language).
• Experience building dashboards and reports from scratch.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, normalization).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
