Job Description This role provides strategic portfolio and delivery management oversight, ensuring that business-critical initiatives are effectively prioritized, funded, resourced, governed, and delivered. It oversees demand and CAPEX portfolios, optimizes resource capacity, strengthens delivery governance and assurance, and proactively manages portfolio-level risks, issues, and dependencies.
The role provides leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health, performance, and investment utilization through executive reporting and KPI management, while driving value realization and continuous improvement. It works closely with business, technology, finance, and delivery teams to align investments and execution with strategic priorities and maximize business outcomes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivery Governance & Assurance: Establish and enforce standardized delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards; conduct assurance reviews and drive continuous improvement to ensure quality execution and timely achievement of business outcomes

  • Demand Management: Oversee the end-to-end demand portfolio, including intake, evaluation, prioritization, and portfolio planning, ensuring investments are aligned with business priorities, strategic objectives, and available capacity.

  • Budget Management: Manage the CAPEX portfolio, including budget planning, funding prioritization, availment strategies, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.

  • Resource & Capacity Optimization: Optimize resource capacity across the delivery portfolio by identifying cross-functional dependencies, resolving bottlenecks, addressing capacity constraints, and reallocating resources to support business-critical initiatives.

  • Progress & Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide that provide timely visibility into portfolio health, progress, dependencies, risks, issues, financial performance, and compliance.

  • KPI & Value Realization: Define, monitor, and report portfolio KPIs and value realization metrics-including risk reduction, adoption, productivity, compliance, value and utilization-to measure outcomes and support executive and steering committee decision-making.

  • Risk and Issue Management - Proactively identify and manage portfolio risks and issues, drive timely mitigation and resolution, and escalate critical risks early to minimize impact on program objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of end-to-end PM and/or PMO experience with a technical background

  • PMI certifications and experience in a Telco environment is a plus

  • Experience in configuration and building of PMO and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Lookerstudio, etc.) and usage of AI solutions (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.)

  • Experience with/and understanding of project management development and tracking tools

  • Experience managing people and processes in a fast-paced environment

Level of Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science/ IT or ECE from a four-year college or university
