About Us

We are a growing property management company dedicated to maintaining high-quality apartment communities and delivering exceptional service to our residents. We are seeking a dependable and skilled CAPEX Construction Technician to join our team. This position focuses on apartment renovations, capital improvement (CAPEX) projects, apartment turns, and construction work throughout our Jacksonville community.

Position Summary

The CAPEX Construction Technician is responsible for completing apartment renovations, unit turns, capital improvement projects, and general construction work. This position requires experience in multiple construction trades and the ability to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with a high level of craftsmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete apartment turns and make-ready projects.
  • Perform demolition, drywall installation and repair, painting, flooring installation, and finish carpentry.
  • Install cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, vanities, toilets, sinks, faucets, and other fixtures.
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Complete interior and exterior renovation projects.
  • Assist with capital improvement (CAPEX) projects and general construction assignments.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Identify and report maintenance or construction concerns to management.
  • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel between assigned properties as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of construction, remodeling, apartment renovation, or general labor experience preferred.
  • Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, and general construction required.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding work.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Monday – Friday
  • Occasional overtime as business needs require.
