Work Environment

This role allows you to engage with clients from anywhere, thanks to our remote telehealth model. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider cultural influences, lifestyle factors, and individual experiences, ensuring personalized treatment planning.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a diverse range of mental health concerns, fostering resilience and growth in clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to deliver integrated care, ensuring each client receives holistic support.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively, providing immediate support and safety planning during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance understanding and empowerment.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in case conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of the latest research developments and clinical best practices relevant to mental health care to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCMHC, or LCSW in New York State.
  • A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with multiple treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated experience in therapy delivery focusing on cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and an ability to navigate challenging clinical scenarios calmly and effectively.
