Join us as a Production Planning Manager, where you'll lead the charge in transforming our manufacturing planning processes. A Day In The Life
  • Develop and implement detailed production schedules, plans, and workflows using SAP.
  • Manage and optimize production routing and dispatching to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor production processes and performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and meet production targets.
  • Utilize capacity planning tools to balance demand with production capacity, optimizing resource use and minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., procurement, warehouse, quality) to ensure a cohesive production strategy and timely availability of resources.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and forecast future production needs.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements within the production area.
  • Train, manage, and develop a team of production planning and control professionals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to production planning and control, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates with SAP expertise (at least $50M Plus).
  • Proven experience with capacity planning and advanced production scheduling techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of SAP ERP systems (or equivalent ERP system).
