Position Summary

The Attractions Supervisor is the on-floor authority responsible for the safe, organized, and high-energy execution of Space Bounce! sessions. This individual oversees all zone monitors, manages guest flow, enforces safety standards, and ensures every 2-hour session operates with precision and professionalism. This role blends safety leadership, operational discipline, and guest experience management.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $23.00.

The seasonal dates for this role will be July 1, 2026, to August 20, 2026.

This position will remain open until August 20, 2026.

Space Bounce! Miami is the newest indoor inflatable adventure park located at Jungle Island. Featuring a giant slide, obstacle courses, interactive attractions, and dedicated play areas, SpaceBounce delivers unforgettable fun for toddlers, kids, teens, and families. Only for this summer!

Jungle Island, Miami's premier entertainment destination, combines the beauty of Miami's tropical landscape with a jungle full of extraordinary animals from around the globe. Building upon its rich 80-year history, today's Jungle Island is a contemporary theme park, featuring numerous types of wildlife such as lemurs, wallabies, capybaras, and much more! Jungle Island lives up to its name with unusual flora, from the extraordinary African sausage tree to a collection of rare cycads. Visitors to Jungle Island can stroll along the 1.35 miles of winding, covered trails while enjoying the many special exhibits, attractions, and tours that are available. As Miami's brightest and most unique destination, Jungle Island continues to delight the thousands of people who visit Miami each year.

Responsibilities

Safety Leadership

  • Maintain visible and active supervision across all inflatable zones.
  • Enforce all Space Jump! safety rules consistently and confidently.
  • Ensure response time to any incident is under 20 seconds.
  • Immediately intervene in unsafe behavior.
  • Stop operations if conditions require (injury, equipment concern, overcrowding).
  • Lead all emergency response procedures and document incidents properly.

Session Control & Capacity Management

  • Oversee structured 2-hour session blocks.
  • Verify that capacity does not exceed maximum occupancy.
  • Supervise wristband color rotation and entry timing.

Team Leadership

  • Direct and position all Zone Monitors strategically.
  • Assign and rotate zone coverage.
  • Conduct quick pre-shift team briefings.
  • Monitor performance and professionalism of team members.
  • Provide real-time coaching and correction.
  • Serve as the escalation point for any guest concerns.

Guest Experience Oversight

  • Ensure all guests are greeted and oriented properly.
  • Support front desk when high-volume periods require backup.
  • Engage positively with parents and address concerns calmly.
  • Reinforce Jungle Island service standards at all times.
  • Maintain a high-energy but structured atmosphere.

Operational Coordination

  • Conduct a pre-opening safety walkthrough.
  • Verify inflatable anchoring, blowers, and power sources.
  • Confirm cleanliness before each session.
  • Complete end-of-day inspection and checklist.
  • Coordinate with Cafe Supervisor during high-volume times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in active entertainment environments, youth recreation, camps, aquatics, attractions, or hospitality supervision.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Comfortable addressing large groups of children and parents.
  • CPR/AED certified (required prior to first shift).
  • Able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Physically able to move continuously and react quickly.
