D2G Group is seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly motivated Senior Product Development Specialist to lead the development and growth of innovative products within our Digital Solutions portfolio.

You'll play a key role in identifying market opportunities, defining product strategy, collaborating across departments, and driving new product introductions that contribute directly to company growth.

What You'll DoLead Product Innovation & Strategy
  • Own and execute the New Product Introduction (NPI) roadmap for assigned product categories

  • Identify market opportunities through research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and emerging technology trends

  • Develop and manage product roadmaps aligned with category strategies and business objectives

  • Drive product strategy from concept development through launch, growth, optimization, and eventual SKU rationalization

  • Identify opportunities for innovation, expansion into new markets, and product line enhancements

Bring Products to Market
  • Lead end-to-end product development initiatives from ideation through commercialization

  • Develop data-driven sales forecasts and business cases for new product introductions

  • Establish product pricing and positioning strategies based on market conditions, customer value, competitive analysis, and margin objectives

  • Manage product launches and conduct post-launch performance evaluations

  • Develop strategic action plans to maximize product success and profitability

Collaborate Across the Business
  • Partner closely with Category Management, Marketing, Sourcing, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Technical Support teams

  • Work alongside the Senior Sourcing Specialist to define product requirements, evaluate samples, review inspection reports, and ensure product quality standards are met

  • Support product training initiatives for Account Specialists and Technical Support teams

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure product content accurately represents product capabilities and specifications

  • Communicate product vision, opportunities, market insights, and technology trends to key stakeholders

Analyze, Improve & Grow
  • Monitor product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization

  • Conduct extensive market research, competitive analysis, trend forecasting, and customer insight gathering

  • Evaluate product portfolios and recommend additions, improvements, or discontinuations

  • Use data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and product investments

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

  • ERP system experience strongly preferred

  • B2B product experience preferred

  • Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus

Travel
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10โ€“15%, including occasional domestic and international travel
