Responsibilities Perform in-process, pre-cap/internal visual, final, and external visual inspections Inspect electronic and mechanical components, including semiconductors, integrated circuits, hybrid microcircuits, mechanical parts, and printed wiring boards Ensure compliance with standards such as MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-883, ASME Y14.5 (GD&T), MIL-P-55110, MIL-P-50884, and J-STD-002 Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerances Verify product conformity, workmanship, dimensions, and functionality Document inspection results and maintain accurate certification and compliance records Participate in product qualification and recertification testing Stay current with customer, military, and industry standards Identify nonconforming products and elevate quality issues Support customer audits and special qualification requirements Qualifications Prior experience performing quality inspections in aerospace Strong knowledge of military and commercial inspection standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Experience inspecting electronic components and mechanical assemblies Familiarity with industry standards: MIL-STD-750 MIL-STD-883 ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) MIL-P-55110 MIL-P-50884 J-STD-002 IPC standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with: Internal visual inspections External visual inspections Final acceptance inspections Experience with IPC-specific inspections, solderability testing, and printed circuit board (PCB) inspections Physical / Work Requirements Ability to use microscopes, calipers, measuring tools, and inspection equipment. Ability to sit, stand, and perform detailed visual inspections for extended periods. Strong manual dexterity and close attention to detail.
