In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse demographic of children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who face developmental disabilities and other intellectual challenges. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support that targets individual needs, enabling children to thrive emotionally and socially while assisting families in navigating the complexities that come with these challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential for this role.
  • A minimum weekly availability of 5-10 hours during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with some flexibility for weekends.
  • Proficiency in the implementation of positive behavior support techniques to foster client growth and progress.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents aged 3-20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
  • Experience within community health clinics or in-home therapeutic settings is a significant plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for occasional in-home visits.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits

Inner Canvas Wellness offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:

  • A dynamic and supportive work environment promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Comprehensive group health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Ongoing job training and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and expand your expertise.
  • Annual paid time off to ensure work-life balance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance options.
  • A supportive retirement plan with a 401K.
