Position Overview

Inner Canvas Wellness is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team based in Gilbert, Arizona. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take a hands-on approach in delivering therapeutic services to couples and families. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, working collaboratively to address relational issues while also providing individual sessions for each partner.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that consider the unique needs of each family member.
  • Provide therapy for a range of issues including alcohol abuse, physical/psychological abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, medical issues, and communication difficulties.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to guide treatment, including CBT, EFT, and family systems theories.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in family therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress in our electronic health record system and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists serve a diverse population of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various challenges. We aim to provide holistic care that addresses not only the individual but also family systems as a whole. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in working with blended families, addressing issues related to separation and divorce, and improving communication among family members.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess an active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering patient relationships.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are regarded favorably:

  • Prior experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting.
  • Exposure to diverse populations and various issues pertaining to marriage and family dynamics.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practices.
Compensation and Benefits

Inner Canvas Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
