Job description

Benefits include 4% 401k matching and employer paid health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Different rotating day off each week

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests, assist in locating merchandise and answer customer questions.
  • Service wholesale customer accounts and process orders for walk in customers.
  • Establish new accounts by calling on existing or potential sales.
  • Communicate policies on returns, refunds or exchanges.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions.
  • Use appropriate verification procedures for credit card purchases.
  • Ensure merchandise is fully stocked and attractively displayed.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Check emails daily and respond in a timely fashion.
  • Provide sales quotes to customers in person, via email and over the phone.
  • Open new wholesale accounts.
  • Return misplaced merchandise to the correct department daily. Restock merchandise as needed.
  • Provide professional, knowledgeable and courteous customer service.
  • Effectively interact with customers to navigate them to the best solution and resolve customer complaints.
  • Ensure full customer satisfaction without unnecessarily referring customers to other staff members.
  • Provide product information, promotions, pricing and availability to make a relevant offer and successfully convert inquiries into orders.
  • Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
  • Comply with all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college courses preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in retail or similar environment.
  • 2+ years of experience working a register with cash and credit transactions.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets, Email and Chat).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Required to work holidays.
