Join the Maven Team
Maven Genetics is seeking detail-oriented and dependable Cannabis Trimmers to join our Cultivation Team in Pacoima, California. This role is critical to our post-harvest operations and helps ensure our premium cannabis products meet the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate enjoys repetitive, hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality results, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. While the primary focus of this position is cannabis trimming, team members may have opportunities to learn and support other cultivation and post-harvest functions as business needs evolve.
What You'll Do
  • Hand-trim harvested cannabis flower according to company quality standards.
  • Remove fan leaves, sugar leaves, stems, and excess plant material while preserving flower integrity and appearance.
  • Sort cannabis flower by strain, size, quality, and category.
  • Accurately weigh, label, record, and track trimmed product.
  • Maintain product quality while minimizing waste.
  • Follow all company sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and product tracking.
  • Identify and communicate quality, safety, or operational concerns.
  • Assist with packaging, post-harvest processing, and other cultivation-related tasks as needed.
  • Support production goals, deadlines, and departmental objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Cannabis trimming, cultivation, harvesting, or post-harvest experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and consistency.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the cannabis industry.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and use trimming tools for prolonged periods.
