Both are essential in the cannabis industry but serve different functions—training prepares individuals for roles like budtenders, who apply that knowledge in retail settings.

Are there cannabis training jobs for people without degrees?

Cannabis training jobs often do not require a college degree, focusing instead on knowledge of cannabis products, regulations, and customer service skills. Many entry-level positions, such as budtenders or dispensary associates, prioritize relevant training and certifications over formal education. On-the-job training is common, and some roles may require completing industry-specific courses or obtaining state-issued licenses.
