Responsibilities:
Qualifications / Education / Experience
โ€ข Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems
โ€ข May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production
โ€ข Respond to written and verbal instructions
โ€ข Obtain certifications on assigned equipment
โ€ข Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling
โ€ข Use cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
โ€ข Assist with line changeover
โ€ข Identify feeder by size and type in SMT equipment
โ€ข Demonstrate the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor
โ€ข Remove hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use
โ€ข Continuously maintain a clean machine
โ€ข May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties
Level II
โ€ข Perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above
โ€ข Complete process control charts used to monitor efficiency
โ€ข Identify quality, material and process problems and communicate to proper personnel
โ€ข May be certified to operate a variety of basic-intermediate complex equipment in production
โ€ข Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
โ€ข May set-up and/or PM less complex equipment
โ€ข Complete process control charts used to monitor efficiency; Interpret chart patterns and use them as a tool to control processes
โ€ข May be certified to operate a variety of complex equipment in production and considered a Master
โ€ข Offer solutions to engineering regarding equipment operation
โ€ข Continuously maintain a clean machine
โ€ข Troubleshoots, evaluate and correct minor machine problems where possible with nozzles, feeders, board supports, and sensors, in order to aid less skilled operators
โ€ข Collect data from Data Analyzer and use it for process efficiency ratios
โ€ข Complete and submit a machine fallout report
โ€ข If responsible for feeder repair for SMT, repair bad feeders from bad feeder repair rack and document work performed into PFS; Maintain continuous flow of repairing bad feeders to maintain machine operation and utilize/maintain PFS database for proper cataloguing of feeder repair
โ€ข May set-up and/or PM less complex equipment

This position is classified as safety-sensitive because impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm. Compensation Range: $17.620000 to $20.500000 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
