Responsibilities:
Qualifications / Education / Experience
โข Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems
โข May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production
โข Respond to written and verbal instructions
โข Obtain certifications on assigned equipment
โข Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling
โข Use cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
โข Assist with line changeover
โข Identify feeder by size and type in SMT equipment
โข Demonstrate the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor
โข Remove hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use
โข Continuously maintain a clean machine
โข May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties
Level II
โข Perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above
โข Complete process control charts used to monitor efficiency
โข Identify quality, material and process problems and communicate to proper personnel
โข May be certified to operate a variety of basic-intermediate complex equipment in production
โข Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
โข May set-up and/or PM less complex equipment
โข Complete process control charts used to monitor efficiency; Interpret chart patterns and use them as a tool to control processes
โข May be certified to operate a variety of complex equipment in production and considered a Master
โข Offer solutions to engineering regarding equipment operation
โข Continuously maintain a clean machine
โข Troubleshoots, evaluate and correct minor machine problems where possible with nozzles, feeders, board supports, and sensors, in order to aid less skilled operators
โข Collect data from Data Analyzer and use it for process efficiency ratios
โข Complete and submit a machine fallout report
โข If responsible for feeder repair for SMT, repair bad feeders from bad feeder repair rack and document work performed into PFS; Maintain continuous flow of repairing bad feeders to maintain machine operation and utilize/maintain PFS database for proper cataloguing of feeder repair
โข May set-up and/or PM less complex equipment
All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction. 2+ years of experience operating complex equipment; 2+ years of experience mentoring othersHigh School Diploma or GED Ability to read, write and perform basic math

Compensation Range: $17.620000 to $20.500000 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
