Summary:
Under close direction of experienced operators or a Production Team Leader, operates the SMT placement equipment and/or other equipment in order to perform the tasks necessary to manufacture PCBs and/or systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Reads and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems
โ€ข May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production
โ€ข Responds to written and verbal instructions
โ€ข Obtains certifications on assigned equipment
โ€ข Maintains a clean work environment and follow all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling
โ€ข Use cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
โ€ข Assists with line changeover
โ€ข Identifies feeder by size and type in SMT equipment
โ€ข Demonstrates the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor
โ€ข Removes hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use
โ€ข Continuously maintains a clean machine
โ€ข May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties

โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write and perform basic math
โ€ข Ability to operate basic entry level machines, such as Selective Solder, Wave, Feeder load, Axial/Radial

Compensation Range: $15.830000 to $19.740000 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
