About Us:

Fire Dept. Cannabis is a premier Portland-based cannabis product manufacturer distributing to 200+ dispensaries across the state of Oregon. We produce an extensive CPG lineup across two flagship brands (Fire Dept. Cannabis and Feel Goods), including edibles, kief, vapes, and an array of infused and traditional pre-rolls.

About the Role:

We're seeking a strategic Sales Manager to lead our wholesale growth and expand our presence across the Oregon market. This hybrid role is designed for a results-driven leader who can balance sales strategy, pipeline management, and data analysis with hands-on field execution, while coaching the sales team and building strong relationships with key wholesale partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and optimize the B2B remote sales pipeline, tracking performance metrics, pipeline velocity, and account health to forecast revenue accurately.
  • Manage relationships with high-value retail accounts and perform targeted field ride-alongs to coach, support, and audit field sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales forecasting with manufacturing capacity and product rollouts.
  • Develop brand activation strategies, equipping field reps with data, merchandising tools, shelf talkers, and point-of-purchase displays to maximize retail visibility.
  • Maintain and update CRM data, translating field insights into actionable sales strategies and reporting for leadership.
  • Drive a high-performance, collaborative sales culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and unified team goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit. (Required)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.(Required)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • 2-3+ years of documented success in B2B sales management and CPG, with direct experience coaching or managing field reps.
  • Proven track record of utilizing CRM systems, sales metrics, and market data to drive territory growth and forecast performance.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills suited for high-level retail buyers.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid home/office environment with flexibility for field travel to visit top accounts and conduct team ride-alongs.
