Job Summary:
ConsumerDirect is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Business Operations Specialist to join the Operations department, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This role supports cross-functional operational initiatives, owns key process and project management functions, and serves as a critical liaison between Operations, Finance, Sales, Billing, Compliance, and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
• Own and manage the day-to-day operational ticket and task queue, including (but not limited to):
• White-label environment setup and spin-downs.
• Reviewing, approving, and managing partner and employee access requests.
• Reviewing and triaging bug requests and routing them appropriately.
• Monitoring system health and proactively coordinating with the relevant departments when issues arise.
• General troubleshooting and first-line resolution of operational issues.
• Ensure operational tasks are completed accurately, on time, and with appropriate documentation and audit trails.
• Map and document cross-departmental business processes across different departments.
• Draft, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), turning tribal knowledge into clear, repeatable workflows.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and single points of failure, and propose practical improvements.
• Act as project manager and analyst for cross-functional business initiatives — defining scope, timelines, owners, and deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholders across departments, track progress, surface risks, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Gather and analyze data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and report results to leadership.
• Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers, including onboarding, performance tracking, and renewals.
• Support contract reviews, cost analysis, and vendor selection in coordination with the COO and relevant departments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5-8 years of experience in operations, project management, business operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to document business processes and write clear, usable SOPs.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira for ticket management and project tracking.
• Technical fluency, able to manage access requests, triage bugs, monitor system health, and troubleshoot, and to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Self-starter who thrives with ambiguity and minimal oversight.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and executives.
