Cannabis Associates are retail professionals who work in dispensaries or cannabis stores, assisting customers with product selection, providing information about strains and usage, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. They are often responsible for checking IDs, maintaining inventory, and educating customers on safe and legal consumption. Cannabis Associates play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, answering customer questions, and facilitating sales transactions. Their knowledge of product types, effects, and legal considerations is essential to their role.

Our client, an established cannabis company, is looking for dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join its production team in Monson, MA.

This is a hands-on role working with finished cannabis products and helping prepare them for retail. You'll assist with packaging, labeling, trimming, pre-roll production, vape cartridge filling, and quality checks while making sure products meet company and state compliance standards.

If you're reliable, enjoy hands-on work, and can stay focused in a fast-paced production environment, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in the cannabis industry.

Previous cannabis experience is a plus, but not required.

What You'll Do
  • Package, weigh, fill, seal, and label cannabis products accurately
  • Prepare finished products for distribution and retail
  • Hand trim and sort cannabis flower while maintaining product quality
  • Assist with automated trimming equipment as needed
  • Operate production equipment used for pre-rolls, vape cartridges, and other finished products
  • Inspect products and packaging for accuracy, quality, and proper labeling
  • Follow established SOPs and state cannabis compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate production and packaging counts
  • Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and organized
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and quality-control procedures
  • Work collaboratively with production and packaging team members to meet daily goals
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Reliable and able to maintain a consistent work pace throughout the shift
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and production requirements
  • Organized and able to adapt when production priorities change
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Previous packaging, manufacturing, production, warehouse, food production, or cannabis experience is helpful but not required
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
  • Must meet all state and company requirements to work within the regulated cannabis industry
  • Must be able to follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures
  • Must be dependable and able to maintain reliable attendance
Why You'll Like This Opportunity
This is a great way to get your foot in the door of the cannabis industry while gaining hands-on experience in production, packaging, trimming, and finished-product operations.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse operations, fulfillment, assembly, packaging, or other fast-paced production environments are encouraged to apply.
