Job Title: Retail Associate
Reports to: Store Manager

Our ideal Retail Associate is an individual with both exceptional interpersonal skills and leadership skills. Someone who takes pride in supporting Jungle Boys Brand and is dedicated to providing the best medical cannabis experience to all Florida patients. This unique individual will have a positive approach while learning new roles, is comfortable with change, and enjoys collaborating with others.
Responsibilities:
  • Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
  • Accurately Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Follow proper check-in procedures for patients and be able to guide them on the medical card experience
  • Accurately counting and processing inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked
  • Ensuring that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized
  • Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts for cannabis products in the facility
  • Maintain accurate inventory and dispensations in compliance with state laws and regulation
  • Support the intake and receiving of new inventory products as the business requires
  • Maintain familiarity with product launches, new regulations, and patient allotment requirements
  • Must maintain compliance with all documented security procedures and safeguarding inventory against diversion
  • Maintain strict privacy and HIPPA policy requirements during patient interaction

Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
  • Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of cannabis, retail sales, or hospitality service industry to include:
  • Cashier cash handling Experience
  • Customer-facing sales interaction
  • Desire to continually learn about the Cannabis Plant and its properties
  • Open availability including holidays, evenings, and weekends
