The company specializes in co-manufacturing and co-packaging of chocolate and sugar panned items.JOB TITLE: Operations ClerkJOB STATEMENT: The Operations Clerk is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by processing, tracking, and completing work orders within Sage X3. This role acts as a key liaison between the plant floor and administrative team, ensuring accurate record keeping for materials used, quantities produced, and inventory adjustments across both Production and Packaging departments.Essential functions:Process work orders and other paperwork needed to keep production and packaging running according to the established scheduleComplete and resolve issues with work orders in Sage X3 for both production and packaging operationsReview and correct work order declarations (work order outputs, operations tracking, downtime, and labor hours) in Sage X3 accurately and in a timely mannerReview input declarations for raw materials and packaging supplies issued against work orders, and reconcile variances between actual component usage (raw materials, containers, film, cartons) and standard work order bills of materials (BOMs)Print work order packets, tray tags, and other documents as needed for the plant floorAssist and support floor workers with using RedZone (OEE and quality tracking software) and SIMA (inventory tracking application that integrates with Sage X3)Validate paperwork from candy makers and machine operators for completeness and data accuracy against entries already recorded in Sage X3Assist in monitoring inventory levels of raw ingredients and packaging supplies needed to fulfill scheduled work ordersEscalate material shortages, system discrepancies, or yield variances immediately to the appropriate staff or supervisorMaintain organized physical and electronic files for all completed work orders, audit logs, quality documents, and compliance paperworkAssist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory counts for raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goodsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standardsPerform other clerical and administrative duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND CORE SKILLS:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or vocational training preferred1–3 years of clerical, administrative, or data entry experience, in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP system requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeepingStrong math and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work across shift supervisors, line leads, warehouse personnel, and administrative staffExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with firm production deadlinesACCOUNTABILITIES:Act as a valuable resource for to the operations teamDeliver predictable, high-quality data outputs and meet all processing deadlinesContribute ideas for practical process improvements within daily operations workflowsBENEFITS:Sconza Candy Company offers a competitive compensation and benefit program which includes full medical and dental coverage, 401(k) with company match + discretionary contribution (100% vested immediately), vacation and 11 holidays per year.Salary Range: $19-$23 an hour.
