Job description

Join our SWEET Team! We are looking for a skilled Candy Cook to prepare delicious candy according to our from-scratch, southern recipes. An excellent candy cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared candy.

The ideal candidate will bring talent, passion, and experience to the team but more importantly will embody our core values: family spirit, stewardship, fun, excellence, and guest driven.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
  • Working in varying temperatures, including cold storage areas if applicable

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse setting, with potential exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery
  • Some overtime or weekend work may be required depending on operational needs

Skills:

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of cooking procedure sand methods
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
