Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative, social-first Content Creator who lives and breathes platform culture. This role is responsible for developing and executing engaging, trend-driven and product-focused content across social platforms with a strong focus on short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Pinterest).
You will play a key role in shaping See's Candies online presence by creating content that feels authentic, culturally relevant, and native to each platform. Success in this role means consistently delivering high-performing content, identifying emerging trends, and translating them into compelling brand storytelling that drives engagement, community growth, and brand affinity.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on creator who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, and can concept, produce, and edit content quickly in a fast-paced environment.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000- $90,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
  • Own and execute social-first content creation, particularly for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest

  • Concept, film, and edit short-form video content on an ongoing basis

  • Develop platform-native content that aligns with brand voice and current trends

  • Identify and act on emerging trends, formats, and cultural moments in real time

  • Lead weekly batch content production to maintain a consistent content pipeline

Social Media Management
  • Support day-to-day management of social channels (including posting, scheduling, and publishing content)

  • Monitor and engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community interactions

  • Ensure consistent posting cadence to grow and maintain an active presence

  • Maintain organization of digital assets and content libraries

Brand Storytelling & Collaboration
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and social-first content during photoshoots, events, and campaigns

  • Participate in or lead "face of the brand" content when appropriate

  • Partner with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to align content with broader brand campaigns and key moments

  • Collaborate to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels

Performance & Optimization
  • Track and analyze content performance and social metrics to inform creative strategy

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on engagement trends and data

  • Continuously optimize content based on platform algorithms and audience behavior

  • Assist with monthly and seasonal campaign reports.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or short-form video production

  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and broader social media trends

  • Proven ability to create high-performing short-form video content from concept through execution

  • Strong storytelling instincts with a social-first, audience-focused approach

  • Proficiency in mobile editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva) and social publishing platforms

  • Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the brand

  • Strong visual eye for composition, pacing, and attention-grabbing hooks

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Ability to work quickly and adapt in a fast-moving, trend-driven environment

  • Willingness to travel for shoots, events, and brand activations as needed

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, in addition to a full range of generous medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
