We are currently hiring a well-rounded Shipping Supervisor for our Hicksville distribution facility.  

Where You'll Come In:

This critical role will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the shipping department under the manager, ensuring that items are accurately prepared and shipped (domestically and internationally), and providing a hands-on approach to warehouse operations and teamwork.

  • Supervise warehouse personnel within the shipping and packaging areas; maintain workflow processes and promote team success
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely fulfilment and quality of all customer orders
  • Assist Operations Manager by helping to implement work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
  • Responsible for loading and unloading received merchandise
  • Maintain all work areas and equipment to meet facility standards
  • Report on product and facility conditions to department supervisors
  • Adhere to safety and quality control SOPs and participate in facilitating safety processes and practices
  • Communicate status of operation in a timely manner to management including any safety and /or process issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ supervision experience in a warehouse / distribution environment 
  • Strong verbal, written and overall communication skills
  • Microsoft Office, Outlook and general computer / systems skills 
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
