Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Dishwasher/Janitor
Department: Store
Reports To: ASM-Kitchen
Exemption Classification: Hourly non-exempt
Goo Goo Cluster Dishwasher/Janitor associates are responsible for the daily cleanliness of the store and kitchen. Dishwashers/Janitors are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, chocolate molds, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe. Dishwashers/Janitors are responsible for assisting with the cleanliness of the store which includes sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms and trash maintenance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
People: Guest Experience
  • Be a brand ambassador of Goo Goo Cluster by providing knowledge of history and a
  • Provide a pleasant and memorable experience to each guest personally representing Goo Goo Cluster’s core values and purpose.
  • Excite guests about their custom creations by demonstrating a passion for chocolate production, clean working methodology and holding yourself to a high-quality standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow standard operating procedures and complete all tasks as assigned by the GM.
  • Assist with breaking retail staff and assisting on retail floor during peak times.
  • Maintain DYO (Design Your Own) area is to health code standards for cleanliness and sanitation set by local and state law.
  • Use safe work practices to eliminate slips, trips and falls.
  • Never operate equipment without proper training.
  • Wash and sanitize equipment, dishes and pots and pans.
  • Knowledge and notify GM immediately of any damaged equipment, hazardous conditions, or unsafe behavior.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and store.
  • Empty trash reciprocals.
  • Assist with receiving inventory.
Customer Relations: Internal and External Customer Experience
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and solutions by notifying MOD within a timely manner.
  • Maintain brand positivity partnerships with team members and management.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
