Job description

The Restaurant Server is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner and plays and ensures our customers have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our Guests’ needs, making them feel welcomed.  The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing attitude and previous experience working as a server in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties:

  • Serve food promptly and properly.
  • Provide attentive service and pre-bus tables.
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
  • Follow all money handling procedures when serving the guest.
  • Set all tables according to hotel standards.
  • Check tableware: china, silverware, glassware, candles, sugars, salt & pepper shakers for cleanliness and neatness. 

Physical requirements:

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift. 

Education & Experience: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must have at least 1 year of restaurant/hotel server experience.
