What is Candidate Care?

Candidate Care refers to the process and practices involved in managing and supporting job applicants throughout the recruitment journey. It includes timely communication, providing feedback, ensuring a positive experience, and addressing candidate questions or concerns. Effective Candidate Care helps build an employer's reputation, increases the likelihood of attracting top talent, and ensures candidates feel respected and valued even if they are not selected for a role.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In candidate care or related roles, high earnings typically require extensive experience, strong communication skills, and sometimes certifications, but earning $10,000 a month without a degree is uncommon. Many high-paying jobs in sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship can reach this level through commissions or business ownership. However, most well-paying roles in candidate care focus on experience and performance rather than solely on formal education.

What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that 70% of a candidate's evaluation should focus on skills, experience, and qualifications, while 30% should consider cultural fit and soft skills. For Candidate Care roles, balancing technical competence with interpersonal abilities is essential to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the hiring process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Candidate Care, and why are they important?

To excel in Candidate Care, you need strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, often supported by experience in HR or recruitment. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM software, and scheduling tools is typically required. Empathy, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities help you create a positive candidate experience and manage multiple tasks efficiently. These skills ensure smooth recruitment processes, high candidate satisfaction, and contribute to the organization's talent acquisition success.

What is the highest paid, lowest stress job?

For a candidate care role, high-paying, low-stress positions often include remote customer support or administrative roles that require strong communication skills and organization. These jobs typically offer predictable schedules and minimal physical or emotional demands, but pay varies based on experience and industry. Generally, roles with clear procedures and limited conflict tend to be less stressful.

How does the Candidate Care role interact with recruitment teams to enhance the candidate experience?

In a Candidate Care position, you work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure candidates receive timely updates and support throughout the hiring process. Your responsibilities often include scheduling interviews, answering candidate queries, and providing feedback, which requires strong communication and organizational skills. By acting as a liaison between candidates and internal teams, you help create a seamless and positive candidate journey, which is vital for employer branding. Collaboration is key, as you'll regularly coordinate with recruitment and HR to resolve issues and improve processes.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

High-paying jobs that can pay around $2,000 a day typically include specialized roles such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, corporate lawyers, and certain executive positions. These roles often require advanced education, certifications, and significant experience, and may involve high-stakes environments or freelance consulting in fields like finance or technology.

Job description

Join Team S&P Global Mobility as a Candidate Care Specialist!
Isn't it time you bragged about where you work? At S&P Global Mobility, we do - every day. We're mission-focused on building a brand rooted in accuracy and integrity, and we care deeply about our products, our customers, and most importantly, our people. We help millions of consumers make smarter decisions every day, and we know that starts with having the right team behind us. We champion a balanced life while tackling exciting challenges in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
The Role
We're looking for a highly organized, high-energy Candidate Care Specialist who thrives on keeping things moving, loves checking boxes, and genuinely gets excited about creating an outstanding experience for candidates. If you're the person who color-codes your calendar, spots a process gap from a mile away, and brings positive energy to everything you touch - we need to meet you.
You'll be at the heart of our recruitment engine, partnering with our People teams and key departments like Finance, Payroll, and Operations to make sure every candidate interaction is seamless, professional, and memorable. This is a Hybrid role with an expectation of 3 days a week in the VA office.
The Team
You'll be joining a collegial, driven, and globally connected HR team that values collaboration, shared expertise, and doing things the right way. We hold ourselves to a high standard - and we have a lot of fun doing it.
What You'll Own
  • Master the calendar chaos - Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews across multiple time zones with precision and ease
  • Be the ATS guru - Keep our recruitment applicant tracking system accurate, organized, and up to date at all times
  • Champion the candidate experience - Ensure every touchpoint in the recruitment process is professional, warm, and friction-free
  • Keep the momentum going - Partner with recruiters to identify priority roles and fast-track hiring when the business needs it
  • Get the paperwork right - Create offer letters and contracts within defined SLAs and manage uploads in Workday accurately and on time
  • Drive pre-employment processes - Initiate and monitor background checks and coordinate all pre-employment requirements with care
  • Set new hires up for success - Lead the first stages of onboarding, answer new hire questions, and build strong relationships with the HR Operations team
  • Handle the curveballs - Assist with job changes, start date adjustments, and profile updates with a calm, solutions-first mindset
  • Go beyond the checklist - Support managers and the broader People function with ad hoc projects that make a real impact

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or in a similar HR support role
  • Hands-on experience with Workday
  • Elite time management skills and a natural ability to juggle competing priorities with urgency
  • Sharp problem-solving instincts and a proactive, "figure it out" attitude
  • Unwavering discretion and a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality
  • Obsessive attention to detail - you notice what others miss
  • A curiosity and interest in developing recruiting skills
  • A track record of delivering SLA-driven metrics with consistency
  • High energy, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for people

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
