Job description

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS), an independent, nonprofit health system and member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary Medicine physician to join their established Pulmonary & Critical Care team in Findlay, Ohio. This 100% outpatient role offers a flexible full-time schedule with no call responsibilities, focusing on general pulmonary outpatient practice and interventional pulmonary procedures. The position provides an opportunity to contribute to an established lung cancer screening program and work in a hospital-based pulmonary clinic adjacent to the ICU.

Practice Info

  • General pulmonary outpatient practice with interventional pulmonary procedures
  • 100% outpatient role
  • No call responsibilities
  • 24/7 in-house hospitalist and intensivist coverage
  • 1.5 OR procedure block days per week with flexibility for additional procedures
  • Typical clinic volume: approximately 20 patients/day (8-hr day)

Responsibilities

  • Perform interventional pulmonary procedures including robotic bronchoscopy (ION), endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), thoracentesis, chest tube placement, central venous catheter placement, ventilator management, and fluoroscopy access
  • Manage general pulmonary outpatient practice
  • Contribute to the established lung cancer screening program

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $500,000 to $550,000 / Year
  • $500,000 guaranteed base salary
  • Uncapped productivity incentive: $84/wRVU
  • $100,000 signing bonus ($50K Year 1, $50K Year 2)
  • $10,000 relocation assistance
