The Role

ThisWage RN Coordinator position provides support throughout the Cancer Center based on staffing and patient care needs. No two days are exactly alike, creating an engaging opportunity to broaden your oncology experience while building relationships with multidisciplinary teams across various specialties.

In this role, you will:

• Provide nursing support across multiple Cancer Center clinics and programs.

• Coordinate and support patient care while helping ensure continuity across care settings.

• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality oncology care.

• Adapt to changing priorities and clinical assignments based on operational needs.

• Utilizestrong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Experience: 1 year of registered nursing experience required, 3 years of related and relevant registered nursing experience strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is required. Specialty Board Certification strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
