Responsibilities
  • Responsible for technical leadership, problem resolution, and engineering processes associated with executing Communication Systems programs
  • Understand government and commercial communications systems requirements, operations, and integration
  • Partner with Site Leadership, Program Managers, Capability Directors, and Business Chief Engineers
  • Assure programs properly execute Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Failure Review Boards (FRB)
  • Develop and execute Communication Systems Engineering long term strategy for key programs
  • Support new business activities and lead engineering review assessments (ERAs) for proposals
  • Derive Communication Systems product and technology insertion roadmaps from Strategic Plan (LRBP)
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team delivering mission-critical space communication capabilities
Requirements
  • active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in communication/systems engineering
  • 10+ years of experience designing space communication systems
