The role of Space Vehicle Test Engineer is a Satellite Systems Engineer with deep Space Vehicle Assembly Integration and Test (SV Al&T). This role provides technical support, coaching and mentoring Government points of contact (GPOCs) relative to ongoing SVAl&T activities happening across diverse geographically located contractor facilities. We are seeking a Space Vehicle Test Engineer to support the GPOC overseeing SV Al&T providing critical insight to the prime contractor's execution of Al&T. Interested candidates need to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment; are highly motivated and not afraid to take on uncharted territory; possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; and be able to prioritize their time to be effective in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: โ€ข Directs Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) operations and activities โ€ข Supports staffing, planning and headcount allocation to ensure adequate in-plant coverage for critical operations โ€ข Supports ATLO schedule assessments and Al& T planning activities โ€ข Facilitates factory inquiries and on-site visits โ€ข Tracks special topics impacting Al&T progress and participate in relate forums and working groups to facilitate resolution โ€ข Reviews procedures, witness floor operations, and provide independent verification to improve operational safety and efficiency โ€ข Conducts requirements and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) reviews; providing feedback as necessary โ€ข Provides Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP) coverage and report when available โ€ข Informs customer of Al&T status via verbal, daily written and ad hoc reports โ€ข Leverages contractor reports, floor walks, and interviews to maintain situational awareness โ€ข Serves as primary communication channel for technical and operational updates โ€ข Travels up to 25% Required Qualifications: โ€ข TS/SCI with CI or Full Scope Polygraph โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field โ€ข 9-14 year experience in ATLO, Al&T or Systems engineering for space programs โ€ข Proven leadership in Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) activities, including team management and stakeholder coordination โ€ข Familiarity with Department of War (DoW)/Intelligence Community (IC) programs and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance โ€ข Strong organizational and communication skills within high pressure environments โ€ข Experience in reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, discrepancy resolution and on-site support Preferred Qualifications: โ€ข INCOSE ESEP or CSEP โ€ข Master degree and 8 years of experience โ€ข Experience using systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy solutions for Satellite Systems. โ€ข Experience as an intelligence analyst with demonstrated skills in communicating with analytical communities โ€ข Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support. โ€ข Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) construct and Earned Value processes About LV8D Solutions:
