We're a growing company, with manufacturing facilities in California, Washington and Texas, working on environmentally conscious commercial construction projects across the U.S and Canada. We're a tight-knit group looking for a real team player. Having recently acquired Greenscreen, the leader in the 3D trellis systems, we're looking to continue our growth and position as a leader in the market.
Woodworker
Department: Finish Production - Assembler/Woodworker
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: Port Orchard, WA
Experience: 6 months
Job Type: Full Time Employee (non-exempt)
Shift: Monday - Friday - 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 9pm
Education: HS Diploma
Travel: None
Worksite: Full-time on site

About the Team
The Finish Production team will work under the direction of the Production Manager and directly with the [what team] staff to create, coordinate, plan, and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity. This full-time position is located in our Union City headquarters and manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret production orders
  • Inspect the quality of the material during and after the various processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Complete required paperwork for inventory purposes
  • Report defective material and faulty equipment to Production Manager immediately
  • Maintain a clean work environment and abide by all plant safety regulations and work rules

Necessary Skills
  • Proven experience working with woodworking tools
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs, jib cranes are available in all workstations
  • You should have strong attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation, regular attendance and punctuality are critical

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for extender periods - 8 hours minimum and able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
  • Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and at times may also require working in confined spaces.
  • Work is performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors and noise, and at times, extreme temperature changes including cold and heat.
