Job description

Position Summary

Can I Help You Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care

Aides (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care to individuals who need assistance with daily living

activities. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and

independent in their own homes while treating every individual with dignity, respect, and

compassion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

• Provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care.

• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility.

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).

• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities as authorized.

• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.

• Maintain accurate daily documentation and care notes.

• Follow each client's individualized care plan.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Provide companionship while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.

• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of caregiving experience is required.

• PCA Certificate, CNA License, or equivalent caregiving experience.

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Ability to safely lift, transfer, bend, stand, and assist clients as needed.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
