Join Our Team of Rangers at Tranquil Timbers!
AtTranquil Timbers Campground, part of theEquity LifeStyle Properties (ELS)family, we're passionate about giving guests that perfect Door County camping experience-safe, peaceful, and full of adventure. Our team works together to keep the park clean, secure, and welcoming for everyone who visits.

As aRanger, you'll be the friendly, watchful presence around the campground-helping ensure our guests have a great experience while keeping the property safe and well maintained. This role is ideal for someone who's dependable, personable, and enjoys a mix of outdoor work, guest interaction, and light maintenance tasks.

This is aparttime seasonal positionthat runs through October 31st, with all shifts onevenings and weekends. (Thurs - Sun: 6pm - 11pm)

What You'll Do

Each shift brings something new-from greeting latearriving campers to patrolling the grounds at sunset. You'll be there to lend a hand, keep things running smoothly, and help our guests feel right at home.

  • Perform routine patrols by foot and golf cart to ensure the campground is safe, orderly, and secure.

  • Monitor property gates and checkin areas; welcome and verify guest arrivals after hours.

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests, answering questions and explaining campground policies.

  • Respond calmly and effectively to concerns, emergencies, or rule violations, contacting law enforcement if needed.

  • Support light maintenance and housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance around common areas.

  • Report safety or maintenance issues to management promptly.

  • Complete daily reports and communicate key updates with supervisors and team members.

  • Assist with campground operations or events as needed.

  • Represent Tranquil Timbers and ELS with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

What You Bring

We're looking for a reliable team player who can balance problemsolving with guest service, and who takes pride in keeping things safe and well organized.

  • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Calm, levelheaded response to stressful or challenging situations.

  • Prior experience in security, hospitality, or maintenance helpful but not required.

  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and being active throughout your shift.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
