What is the Opportunity?

As part of the U.S. Customer Contact Optimization organization, the Senior Campaign Execution Analyst plays a critical role in delivering timely, relevant, and compliant customer communications that help drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer value.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Technology, Compliance, and Operations partners while supporting strategic business initiatives through effective campaign execution and customer targeting.

Job Summary

The Senior Campaign Execution Analyst supports U.S. Customer Contact Optimization by designing, building, validating, and deploying customer contact campaigns across multiple marketing and sales enablement channels. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into campaign logic, audience selections, segmentation strategies, test cells, output files, and deployment-ready campaign assets while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior individual contributor within the U.S. Customer Contact Optimization team and will leverage strong analytical, technical, and campaign execution expertise to support complex marketing initiatives. This role requires independent judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Execution & Delivery
  • Design, build, validate, and deploy customer contact campaigns across email, direct mail, outbound calling, online banking, mobile, IVR, Conversation Cues, and other supported channels.
  • Translate business requirements into executable campaign logic, audience selection criteria, segmentation strategies, suppressions, eligibility rules, offers, test cells, and deployment outputs.
  • Utilize campaign management tools to create and maintain campaign flowcharts, segments, treatments, offers, and reusable campaign components.
  • Evaluate campaign requests for feasibility, data availability, execution risks, and operational considerations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure campaign designs are executable, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent campaign initiatives while meeting established timelines and quality standards.
Quality Control & Risk Management
  • Perform quality control across campaign logic, counts, test cells, control groups, suppressions, channel files, deployment readiness, and campaign outputs.
  • Validate campaign execution against approved business requirements, legal and compliance guidance, internal policies, privacy expectations, and control standards.
  • Identify, escalate, and support resolution of campaign defects, data issues, execution risks, and stakeholder concerns.
  • Conduct analysis and validation activities to ensure campaign accuracy and customer impact expectations are met.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining required documentation and adhering to established governance practices.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Follow established campaign execution processes, controls, and documentation standards while ensuring consistent delivery quality.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve speed-to-market, increase consistency, and strengthen control effectiveness.
  • Participate in campaign process improvement initiatives and support implementation of enhancements that improve campaign quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve campaign execution best practices and platform utilization.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Technology, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Communicate campaign requirements, risks, data considerations, and execution outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a trusted resource on campaign execution capabilities, platform functionality, and campaign management best practices.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to peers and project stakeholders as needed.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in campaign execution, marketing operations, CRM operations, data-driven marketing, or related marketing functions.
  • Experience translating business requirements into campaign logic, audience selections, segmentation strategies, suppression criteria, control groups, and deployment outputs.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills with the ability to validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot campaign data.
  • Experience utilizing campaign management platforms such as Unica Campaign, Unica Interact, or similar technologies.
  • Strong quality control, validation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working within established governance, compliance, and control frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial services or banking experience
  • Experience working in regulated environments with privacy, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with customer targeting, customer data platforms, customer segmentation, and campaign measurement concepts.

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $138,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
