Position Overviews

This position is classified as non-exempt and report to the District Manager and Owners.


We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Local Store Marketing (LSM) Manager to join our team as we open our new Zaxby’s store in the Las Vegas market. This role is essential for driving local awareness, building customer relationships, and ensuring the success of Zaxby’s in a new market through effective grassroots marketing strategies. The LSM Manager will work closely with the District Manager and Franchise Owner to execute localized campaigns that generate excitement and boost sales in the new market.

Essential Job Functions


1. Market Research & Analysis
o Conduct and review existing market research to understand local demographics,
trends, and consumer behaviors
o Identify key local events, partnerships, and opportunities to increase brand visibility


2. Local Marketing Campaign Execution
o Plan, implement, and manage local marketing campaigns that drive foot traJic,
sales, and customer engagement
o Utilize social media, community networking, and local advertising (print, radio, TV,
etc.) to promote the store and events
o Coordinate in-store promotions and events that build buzz around the grand
opening and beyond

3. Community Engagement & Relationship Building
o Foster relationships with local influencers, media, community organizations, and
business groups
o Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses to drive co-branded
initiatives
o Represent the brand at local events, charity drives, and networking opportunities to
increase awareness

4. Brand Consistency & Customer Experience
o Ensure all local marketing eJorts are consistent with Zaxby’s brand guidelines and
corporate marketing strategies

o Oversee the execution of in-store signage, promotions, and any other marketing
materials to ensure they reflect the brand and resonate with local customers
o Utilize SMG to monitor and respond to customer feedback


5. Budget Management
o Work within the assigned marketing budget to plan and execute cost-eJective local
campaigns
o Monitor the return on investment (ROI) of all local marketing eJorts, adjusting
tactics as needed to maximize impact


6. Tracking, Reporting & Optimization
o Track the success of local marketing initiatives through key performance indicators
(KPIs) such as customer acquisition, sales growth, and brand awareness. Any info
here on programs they use to track results
o Provide regular reports to the franchise owner oJering insights and adjustments to
improve future campaigns
o Continuously optimize local marketing strategies based on performance data


7. Assist Store Operation if Needed

Qualifications:
• Associate or above degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 2 years of experience in local store marketing, brand management, or field marketing,
ideally in the restaurant industry
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer engagement strategies
• Proven ability to execute eJective local marketing campaigns and promotions
• Familiarity with social media platforms, digital advertising, and traditional marketing
methods (flyers, radio, etc.)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage projects from concept to
execution
• Creative mindset with the ability to tailor national initiatives to fit local needs
• Ability to work independently
