Summary:
Curiosity is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Intern to join our Activation Team. You will be responsible for working with various agency teams and the day-to-day management of multiple social media platforms. Ideally, we are looking for a social media guru who has a passion and desire to monitor and execute ever-changing social media trends and best practices.
Position Description: Support the Senior Social Strategist, and the social department with the assistance of creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. May also monitor site metrics, respond to user comments, and oversee coordination for content development.
This internship is part-time around 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday) and will meet 3 days a week in person at our Cincinnati office.
The Social Media Intern will help with and learn about:
  • Brainstorm and assist with content calendar creation
  • Create and curate engaging social media content that resonates with our target audience - this includes being familiar with trending audio and editing video in-platform
  • Schedule content and manage social media accounts on various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
  • Monitor social media analytics and provide actionable insights based on performance
  • Assist with social media campaigns and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices - and write our weekly social newsroom

Education Requirements:
Ideally, the Social Media Intern will be a junior or senior in college - majoring in communications, marketing, advertising, or media. You MUST be an outstanding writer and communicator.
Along with your resume please submit a writing sample that includes a write-up on a current TikTok trend and 2-3 possible recommendations for how a brand could activate on it.
Internship Benefits:
The Social Media Internship is a paid internship, and the student will be reimbursed for parking and/or be provided with a travel stipend, as determined by Curiosity Management.
At the conclusion of a successful internship, the Social Media Intern will be provided with a written recommendation from their assigned Curiosity supervisor.
