About PW Companiesย

Cariloha is our biggest brand and is an omni-channel brand specializing in luxuriously soft, sustainable bedding, bath, and apparel made from bamboo viscose. Rooted in comfort and conscious living, we blend Caribbean style with the spirit of Aloha to deliver elevated everyday essentials.ย

This role will also support two sister brands: Del Sol, our color-changing apparel brand known for its Spectrachromeยฎ technology and presence in top vacation destinations, and Island Cruz, our electric vehicle brand for beach and resort cruising.ย

Role Overviewย

This position combines social media operations and live commerce into a single, dynamic role. You'll own the day-to-day management of Cariloha's social media presence while also producing and executing live selling events on platforms like TikTok Shop, Whatnot, and Amazon Live.ย

You report directly to the Director of Social Media & Content, who oversees content strategy, high-end asset creation, and overall brand direction across social channels. Your lane is execution: keeping the feeds active and engaging, the community warm, the live events running smoothly, and the data flowing.ย

This is not a strategy role โ€” it's an operator role. We're looking for someone who is organized, platform-savvy, comfortable on camera when needed, and energized by the pace of social and live commerce.ย

What Youโ€™ll Ownย

1. Social Media Management (Primary Focus)ย

โ€ข Own day-to-day posting, scheduling, and content calendar management across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platformsย

โ€ข Manage community engagement: responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, on-brand voice ย

โ€ข Monitor trends, platform updates, competitive activity and audience behavior to keep content relevant and timelyย

โ€ข Coordinate with the Director to execute campaign rollouts and seasonal content pushesย

โ€ข Pull and report on social performance analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth, saves, shares) on a regular cadence ย ย

โ€ข Support content creation for social โ€” including short-form video, product lifestyle content, and reactive/trending formats ย

2. Live Commerce Production & Executionย

โ€ข Plan, produce, and run live selling events on TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Amazon Live, and similar platforms ย

โ€ข Manage all technical setup: cameras, lighting, audio, and live feed managementย

โ€ข Develop and execute run-of-show documents including product sequencing, promotional timing, and audience engagement tacticsย

โ€ข Support Creators that are brought in with their live selling events through brand onboarding, live selling script and promo logistics as it pertains to the shopfrontย

โ€ข Track and report live commerce performance metrics including GMV, conversion rate, average order value, and viewer retentionย

โ€ข Identify high-performing live formats and contribute to a repeatable playbook for future sessions ย

โ€ข Serve as an on-camera host or support host talent when neededย

3. Analytics & Reportingย

โ€ข Pull weekly/monthly performance reports across social channels and live eventsย

โ€ข Surface insights and optimization opportunities to the Director of Social Media & Contentย

โ€ข Maintain organized dashboards or trackers for posting cadence, engagement trends, and live commerce resultsย

4. Cross-Functional Collaborationย

โ€ข Partner with Creative, E-commerce, and Paid Media teams to align social and liveย

content with product launches and campaignsย

โ€ข Coordinate with creators and brand partners on collaborative content and liveย

opportunitiesย

โ€ข Coordinate with internship team on Marketing Track and developing social contentย

โ€ข Support campaign shoots and brand activations as an on-camera contributor or behind-ย

the-scenes operatorย

Requirements:

What Success Looks Likeย

โ€ข Social channels are consistently active, engaging, and growingย

โ€ข Community is well-managed โ€” comments and DMs get thoughtful, timely responsesย

โ€ข Live events run smoothly from a technical and production standpoint, with improving GMV over timeย

โ€ข Analytics are organized and delivered on schedule, with clear takeawaysย

โ€ข The Director of Social Media & Content has a reliable execution partner they can trust to run the day-to-day
ย

Requirementsย

You Bringย

โ€ข 2โ€“4 years of experience in social media management, live commerce production, or a combination of bothย

โ€ข Hands-on experience with at least one live commerce platform (TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Amazon Live, or similar)ย

โ€ข Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video best practicesย

โ€ข Experience with social media scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, Planoly, or similar)ย

โ€ข Comfort managing community engagement at volume โ€” you know how to keep a comment section warm and on-brandย

โ€ข Proficiency with analytics tools native to social platforms, plus the ability to translate data into clear reportsย

โ€ข Hands-on experience with live production setup: cameras, lighting, audio, and troubleshooting on the flyย

โ€ข Comfortable appearing on camera for live sessions or light content creation when neededย

โ€ข Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused โ€” you donโ€™t drop ballsย

โ€ข Strong written communication with a feel for brand voice and audience toneย

Bonus Pointsย

โ€ข Experience with TikTok Shop specifically, including affiliate tools and GMV trackingย

โ€ข Background in Whatnot or Amazon Live selling environmentsย

โ€ข Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or other short-form editing toolsย

โ€ข Experience working with or alongside a creator networkย

โ€ข Existing instincts for what converts in social commerce vs. what just looks goodย

Compensation & Benefitsย

โ€ข Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceย

โ€ข 401(k) with company matchย

โ€ข Paid time off (PTO)ย

โ€ข Flexible schedulingย

โ€ข Gym membership optionsย

โ€ข Employee recognition programs, including monetary rewards and annual โ€œLive Your Dreamโ€ awardsย

โ€ข Generous employee product discounts and annual product giveawaysย

โ€ข Company events, catered meals, and a fully stocked kitchenย

โ€ข Annual one-on-one financial consultingย
