General Summary

Researches, designs, develops, implements, and verifies complex camera systems and HW or FW tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor (ISP), 3A (AWB, AEC, AF), Image Quality, Features, Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification. Performs architecture, IQ modules, algorithm and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development. Ensures image quality, systems performance, ISP area and power metrics are met. Leverages basic understanding of the camera processing pipeline and detailed knowledge of one or more blocks to work on slightly defined tasks related to one or more blocks throughout the design cycle; works under minimal supervision. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to debug simple issues at a block/system level. Works to address customer/product requirements in functionality and results; understands impact of task work on customer needs. Collaborates with team members and other camera teams throughout the design cycle on the design, development, and optimization of camera systems, hardware, and/or software. Writes clear and detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and/or customers to use or implement output.

Education and Experience

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degree field. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Pay Range

$122,500.00 - $183,700.00/year
