Buffalo Toronto Public Media is your local source for television and radio -WNED PBS, WNED PBS KIDS, WNED Create, WBFO NPR, WNED Classical, and WBFO The Bridge!We reach Western New York and Southern Ontario and can be streamed from your favorite device.Engaging our communities through exploration and entertainment-everywhere.We're looking for per-diem Production Assistants!What you'll be doing:Performs tasks as needed by Manager of Studio & Equipment such as: Set and light for studio productionsOperate studio camera and act as floor managerOther production related duties, as neededHelp ready studio for non-production events, rentals, etc.May serve as grip for electronic field productionMay serve as audio assist on electronic field production, as assignedWhat you'll need:Associate's degree in Broadcast Production/Communications preferred2+ years' experience in a professional television production environment or equivalent experience at a college, university or technical schoolMust have working knowledge of studio operations including operation of studio cameras, floor directing and other studio production tasksShould be familiar with electronic field production equipment and techniquesWhy BTPM?Because we're awesome!
