BQMI is seeking a full-time Multimedia Project Coordinator to work onsite at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville Alabama to provide multimedia and business coordination for the Marshall Multimedia team in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage multimedia service requests, including reviewing details, assigning tasks, communicating with service providers, and keeping all event documentation up to date.
  • Track changes to services request such as postponements, cancellations, schedules, and support needs.
  • Manage photography requests, schedule photographers, and ensure accurate documentation for each assignment.
  • Handle the full photography workflow: receiving images, assigning identification numbers, adding required descriptive information, and archiving images.
  • Conduct image searches for customers, prepare files, and deliver images through approved methods.
  • Serve as backup photographer and video camera operator when needed.
  • Support the business office by attending team meetings, processing purchase requests, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate property and procurement records.
  • Update and maintain tracking spreadsheets for purchases, images, and documentation to ensure records stay organized and accurate.

Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions, the employee bears travel costs to the nearest NASA Center for badging and the issuance of NASA IT equipment.

For a Remote or Hybrid position, the employee must have a reliable internet connection and be able to VPN into the NASA network to conduct work.

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a communications or business-related field.
  • 0-3 years’ experience in data entry, file and metadata management, project coordination, or media management.
  • Work experience in high-profile, fast-paced environments

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Any NASA experience is a plus
  • Experience managing and processing photos, coordinating work requests, and similar project coordination.
  • Experience in business processes, creating purchase orders, tracking property, and fleet management.
  • Skilled in communications management, business processes, and exceptional customer relationship skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive), SharePoint, and Box.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience taking in and managing work orders
  • Experience with photo and image processing
  • Experience with procurements, property management, general business processes
