Supporting Producer Director
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the planning,coordination, production, and direction of live athleticbroadcastsacross digital and linear platforms. Oversees student staff development and training,assistswith game-day broadcast operations, manages media archives, and collaborates with external partners to ensure successful broadcast execution and operational excellence.
Essential Functions
Serves as a secondary producer or director for digital broadcasts andassistswith linear broadcasts.
Collaborates with camera operators to ensureoptimalcamera framing and coverage for various athletic events.
Coordinates with replay and graphics personnel duringbroadcastpreparation and live event execution.
Serves as anadditionalpoint of contact for ESPN personnel duringdesignatedproductions.
Collaborates with production leads todevelopingtraining schedules and educational opportunities for student staff.
Organizes and conducts training sessions focused on production techniques, replay operations, graphics execution, andbroadcastbest practices.
Assistsstudents in evaluatingbroadcastperformance and developing short- and long-term professional goals.
Coordinates game-day operational needs, including staff scheduling, meal planning, event preparation, andbroadcastlogistics.
Collaborateswith production leads todeterminecamera placement, equipment needs, and crew assignments.
Assistswith the setup and teardown ofbroadcastoperations for athletic events.
Maintains, organizes, and archives broadcast recordings, media assets, and video content for future use and training purposes.
UtilizesESPN Melt procedures and SEC NetworkMediaBanksystems to manage archived content.
Assistswith production scheduling and staffing assignments for athletic broadcasts.

Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree inBroadcastJournalism, Communications, Media Arts, Telecommunications, Sports Media, ora related field.
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience insportsbroadcasting, live event production, video production, media operations, or a related field.
Experience withDreamCatcherreplay systems, Ross Xpression graphics systems,broadcast scheduling,and supporting ESPN or comparable live sports production environments, preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must bepaid andin the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

The position also requires occasional setup and teardown of technical equipment, intermittent exposure to loud event environments, and occasional travel between event locations. Employees must be able to work effectively in fast-paced live production settings while meeting deadlines andmaintainingattention to detail.
