Job description

Finance and Administrative Manager

TSD is seeking a motivated, qualified, and experienced professional who will embrace TSDโ€™s core values to apply for the open Finance and Administrative Manager position. Reporting to the General Manager, this position plans, manages and directs the Districtโ€™s finance and customer services operations.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinating activities with other departments for efficiency and service quality
  • Oversee programs, projects, and special assignments
  • Provide expert advice to District management
Ideal Candidate
  • solid and demonstrated background in public agency finance and governmental accounting, along with extensive experience in public agency budget development and contract administration
  • knowledge of financial information systems, implementation experience with a financial system, and related technology
  • high level of leadership skills, including, but not limited to, the ability to select, train, supervise, motivate, develop, and evaluate staff
  • ability to interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major coursework in finance, business or public administration, or equivalent is required. A Masterโ€™s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible financial and administrative program management experience.
