Registered Veterinary Technician
Montclair Pet Hospital - Oakland, CA - Full-Time
$32-$35/hour

Are you a Registered Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? Montclair Pet Hospital is looking for a skilled, compassionate RVT to join our hardworking and family-oriented team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a high, versatile caseload, and wants to be part of a supportive hospital that values teamwork, learning, and great medicine - including the occasional exotic patient!
The Role
You'll support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced advanced general practice.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with exams, surgery, and dental procedures
  • Sedation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
  • Diagnostic and treatment support
  • Small animal care with some exotic patients
  • Maintaining a clean and organized hospital
  • Collaborating closely with veterinarians and support staff

About You
  • 3+ years of RVT experience
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Comfortable in a high-caseload environment
  • Leadership skills a plus

Schedule
  • Full-time
  • 10-hour shifts (7:30am-6pm or 8am-6:30pm)
  • Saturday availability required once we open Saturdays
