Job description

Job Overview

Goleta Airport Pet Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian and an experienced Medical Director (DVM) to join our team. Our veterinarians will work alongside a team of experienced technicians and support staff, collaborating closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director to provide exceptional veterinary care to the Santa Barbara community.

Associate Veterinarians are also encouraged to apply! Full‑time, part‑time, and relief positions available ($160,000–$180,000 DOE).

Compensation

Medical Director compensation: base salary $215,000–$240,000, quarterly production with no deficit carryover, sign‑on, retention, and relocation package up to $125,000 for a multi‑year agreement.

Responsibilities

The Medical Director (MD) provides strong leadership for the hospital, manages and mentors associate veterinarians, and ensures regulatory compliance related to veterinary medicine. The MD maintains an environment of teamwork to deliver high‑quality veterinary care, shares responsibility for the financial health of the hospital, directs staff, and manages overall practice operations. The MD also serves as a staff veterinarian in addition to these administrative duties.

Location
