Neuro Hospitalist Opportunity
Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley, Colorado
A healthcare system in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley, Colorado is seeking a Locum Neuro Hospitalist for coverage as soon as credentialed.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $300/hr
Night Call: $500/night
Call Back: $400/hr
Position Details
Specialty: Neuro Hospitalist / Neurology
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Patient Population: 100% adult
Coverage Type: 24-hour shifts
Schedule: shifts per month
Day Coverage: Inpatient and telestroke coverage, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Night Coverage: Night call, 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient neurology coverage
Telestroke coverage
Stroke consults and management
Adult inpatient neurological care
Coordination of transfers when higher-level neurointerventional support is needed
Patient Volume & Practice Environment
Average patient volume: 15 patients per day
5 physicians in practice
No mid-level providers
Other neurologists may be present during coverage
No supervision or teaching responsibilities
Full hospital staffing available, including stroke team support
Primary stroke center environment
Lab and X-ray onsite
EMR: Epic
Facility Information
Coverage across hospital locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley
45 total ICU beds
12 rehab beds
Trauma Level I III coverage environment
Requirements
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Colorado license highly preferred
Active IMLC with LOQ may be considered
Stroke telemedicine / telestroke experience required
Day and night availability required at name clear
Clean malpractice and background required
BLS required prior to start
COVID vaccination required
NPDB Self-Query report required within 30 days of presentation
Additional Information
Provider availability for day and night shifts must be included at name clear
Higher-level neurointerventional stroke cases may be transferred as needed
