Mobile Service Technician | RWC GROUP | Heavy-Duty Commercial Truck & Bus Dealership

Tired of being stuck in a shop? RWC Group is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to take your skills on the road and provide 24/7 emergency service to commercial fleet customers. You'll be the face of RWC Group at customer locations, diagnosing and fixing problems on-site where it matters. Work independently, manage your own schedule, and have the freedom to solve problems without waiting in line. If you're a skilled technician who thrives on independence and wants to help customers when they need it most, mobile service is your career.

Mobile service is never the same twice. One call you're diagnosing a transmission issue at a customer facility, the next you're troubleshooting electrical problems roadside. You'll face different vehicles, different customers, different challenges—every shift keeps you engaged and sharp. RWC Group's Mobile Service Technicians say it's the most interesting technical work they've done. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and field service repairs
  • Diagnose medium and heavy-duty diesel truck issues independently
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and OEM service information systems
  • Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with customers.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training.
  • Drive Mobile Truck to customer locations to perform service work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of fleet, diesel, heavy-duty truck, or dealership technician experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (this is a safety sensitive position)
  • ASE certifications and CDL preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
  • Must possess own tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform repairs in physically demanding positions.
