What is a call center weekend?

Call Center Weekends jobs refer to positions in customer service or support centers that require employees to work primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. These roles typically involve answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, or providing technical support over the phone, via chat, or through email during weekend shifts. Many businesses offer weekend call center roles to ensure customers can get assistance outside of standard weekday hours. These positions can be full-time or part-time and often require strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations.

What are some common challenges faced by call center agents working weekend shifts, and how can they be managed?

Call center agents working weekend shifts may encounter challenges such as higher call volumes due to limited weekday support, managing customer expectations outside regular business hours, and balancing personal life with non-traditional work schedules. To manage these challenges, agents often rely on strong time management skills, effective communication with teammates and supervisors, and utilizing available resources such as knowledge bases or escalation pathways. Many organizations also provide additional support or incentives for weekend staff to promote motivation and work-life balance.

Job Description

Chase Phone Room Agent

As a Chase Phone Room Agent, you're the recovery engine for our sales pipeline. Your job is to contact clients by phone: either signing them up for an upcoming presentation or reconnecting with guests who previously missed their appointment and getting them rescheduled. You'll work onsite supporting multiple resort brands across the region, partnering closely with marketing, sales, and operations to keep tour flow moving and qualified guests in the seats.

This is a performance-driven role with uncapped earning potential.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet monthly tour flow targets set by management

  • Work an outbound call list daily to book new presentation appointments and recover previously missed tours

  • Qualify clients to ensure they meet the right criteria before scheduling

  • Manage confirmations and reschedules for both internal appointments and third-party vendor bookings with accuracy and follow-through

  • Maintain accurate data entry across Salesforce and sales center systems

  • Prepare and deliver chase materials to resort rooms as needed

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and resort operations teams across the region

  • Assist at the lobby marketing desk when needed

  • Compile and distribute daily performance numbers to regional leadership

What Success Looks Like:

Your list is worked, your numbers are clean, and qualified guests are showing up. The best Chase Agents are persistent without being pushy; they know how to re-engage a cold contact and turn a missed appointment into a confirmed one.

Duties may evolve based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Salesforce CRM experience required; advanced familiarity a strong plus.

  • Minimum of 6 months call center, reservations, or equivalent customer service experience required.

  • Ability to actively listen to client needs and use that insight to build value and motivate attendance at a sales presentation.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.

  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with the ability to think on your feet.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends to suit business needs.

How You'll Be Rewarded:

We offer a diverse range of comprehensive health and welfare benefits to associates who work 30 or more hours per week to meet your needs and support you throughout your career with us.
