Join Community Medical Group

Community Medical Group is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-driven Call Center Representative to join our Contact Center team.

In this role, you will be one of the first points of contact for our patients. You will answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, assist with referrals and transportation requests, and help connect patients with the appropriate members of their care team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, communicating with patients, and working in a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting pay of $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
• Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Answer incoming patient calls in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
• Help patients connect with their physicians, medical assistants, and other members of the care team
• Send completed referrals to patients and provide basic referral status updates
• Assist Medicare patients with transportation requests when needed
• Transfer calls to the appropriate clinic, department, or team member
• Document patient interactions accurately in the appropriate systems
• Help resolve patient questions while providing an excellent customer service experience
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA requirements
• Work collaboratively with clinic teams to support patient needs

What We’re Looking For

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Customer service experience
• One year or more of call center experience (preferred)
• Experience working in a medical setting, such as a clinic, hospital, or dental office, (preferred)
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, patient-focused, and committed to providing excellent service
